What is LPG?

Is LPG safe to use at home?

Does LPG have an expiry date?
The gas itself does not expire. However, LPG cylinders undergo regular inspection and requalification for safety. Check the cylinder markings or ask your dealer about validity dates.
Can I exchange another company’s cylinder for a Sula Gas one?
No, LPG cylinders are company property and cannot be swapped across brands for safety and regulatory reasons. Customers must return empty cylinders to the same company they were purchased from. If any queries, please call or visit one of our sales branches.
How do I order a refill or new cylinder?
You can contact our sales branches, authorized dealers, or delivery hotline for orders. Many dealers also offer home delivery.
Do you offer home delivery of LPG cylinders?
Yes, Sula Gas provides safe and reliable home delivery in selected areas. Contact your nearest branch to confirm availability.
What sizes of LPG cylinders are available?
We offer 5.5kg, 11kg, 22kg, and 50kg cylinders to suit household and business needs.
Why can’t I refill LPG cylinders at a gas station?
It is illegal and unsafe to refill cylinders outside licensed LPG refilling plants. Always get refills through authorized dealers.
How is LPG pricing determined in the Philippines?
Prices are influenced by international LPG costs, exchange rates, transport, and local taxes. The Department of Energy (DOE) monitors and publishes price trends.
Do LPG prices change often?
Yes, prices may change monthly depending on global oil and LPG market conditions.
How often should I replace my LPG hose and regulator?
The hose should be replaced every 2 years or sooner if damaged. Regulators typically last 5 years. Always use branded and certified products.
What do I do with a damaged or expired cylinder?
Return it to your authorized dealer for safe handling. Never attempt to repair cylinders yourself.
Can I transfer LPG from one cylinder to another?
No, transferring LPG between cylinders is extremely dangerous and strictly prohibited. Always rely on licensed dealers for refills.
